One should seek forgiveness for him and supplicate for him with mercy, and he should be treated like all other deceased Muslims. Therefore, it is permissible to dedicate the reward of good deeds to him, and that will benefit him. And if his delirium was due to the severity of illness or loss of consciousness, then he is excused and is not described as having a bad ending.
