If you are unable to repay your debt due to lack of funds, do not perform Hajj, for settling a debt is more important than Hajj. However, if someone donates the expenses for your Hajj, then there is no harm in performing Hajj at that time, as long as you would not be able to repay the debt if you stayed and did not go for Hajj. But if your going for Hajj at someone else's expense will result in the cessation of your earnings, then do not go for Hajj; because that would harm the creditor.
