A man working as a hairdresser for women is forbidden by Islamic law, because it involves the man touching and looking at the (awrah) private parts of a non- woman. This is what the noble hadiths stipulate and what Al-Nawawi said: "Everyone whose looking at is forbidden, touching them is also forbidden; indeed, touching is more severe." This man must abandon this work, repent to Allah, and dispose of the money earned unless he is poor. And whoever abandons what is forbidden out of fear of Allah, Allah will replace it with something better for him. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
