How can hair be shortened after 'Umrah, taking into consideration that it is short hair (pixie cut) and cannot be gathered and cut with scissors?

It is permissible for a woman to cut her hair as long as it does not involve imitating men, or infidel and immoral women, and as long as it is for the purpose of lightening it. However, if she cuts it excessively, resembling a man's head, or the heads of infidel and promiscuous women, then it is forbidden. As for the requirement of shortening hair during Umrah (definition) and Hajj, it must include all the hair, and a woman should take something from its ends, even if it is short. The best is to take a fingertip's length.
