The answer

Photographing a woman is forbidden in itself and due to what it leads to. A woman's entire body is 'awrah (private parts that must be covered), and it is impermissible to photograph her, especially if her major 'awrah is exposed. The Permanent Committee has issued a stating the impermissibility of photographing a woman's face because it is 'awrah and a cause of fitnah (temptation). However, it is permissible for her to do so for the performance of the Hajj pilgrimage in cases of extreme necessity. Furthermore, photographing women is absolutely impermissible due to the fitnah and evils that result from it. A husband is not excused for photographing his wife naked; this does not permit the abominable act, nor is his absence from her considered an excuse for him. Such an act can lead to: the photos being stolen or lost, the husband blackmailing his wife, and his desire not being extinguished but rather inflamed, which may push him into forbidden acts. Spouses should maintain each other's modesty and not be away from home for long periods.
