The answer

It is permissible to sell women's clothing as long as it is worn for lawful purposes, such as a woman beautifying herself for her husband. However, if it is worn to be displayed in front of non- men, then its sale is impermissible, due to the words of Allah Almighty: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." It is mentioned that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade selling grapes to one who would turn them into wine, and forbade selling weapons during times of tribulation. If the seller is ignorant of the buyer's intention, the rule is to consider the general situation of people: if the predominant use is for disobedience, then selling it is forbidden; but if it is for permissible use, then it is allowed.
