The mixing of women with men is forbidden (), and the prohibition and danger intensify if it occurs during a trip where leniency and casualness are prevalent. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to go out on such trips, even with a , as long as reckless mixing exists. And whoever accepts this for his female mahram relatives is lacking in protective jealousy (gheerah) and weak in religious commitment.
