Is it permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram to visit her parents and bring joy to them, knowing that her husband cannot travel with her?

This is supported by the general statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "A woman should not travel except with a dhī mahram (a close male relative whom she is forbidden to marry)." Therefore, the presence of a mahram is essential for her protection and safeguarding.
