The answer

Indeed, the temptation of women is among the greatest of temptations, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against it. It is dangerous to dare to violate people's honor, and a Muslim does not approve for their honor what he would not approve for his own. Repentance after sin is good, but one must not be deceived by it, for disobedience can become a habit, and the servant may be prevented from repenting, or death may overtake him while he is in that state.

One must hasten to sincere repentance and sever any relationship with a non- woman, and strive for steadfastness. It was obligatory to conceal sins and not to disclose them. There has been a difference of opinion among jurists regarding the ruling on a fornicator marrying the woman he fornicated with before repentance and establishing the absence of pregnancy, and there is no religious compulsion to marry her.
