The summary of the answer: This expression, "I love you in the Messenger of Allah," even if its utterer intends a correct meaning by it, it contradicts the which came with "love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah." One should say, "My loved ones for the sake of Allah" or "I love you for the sake of Allah," because it might lead to exaggeration concerning the Messenger and heedlessness of Allah, and it deviates from what the predecessors used to say.
