How can I break free from repeating a forbidden relationship driven by the fear of losing someone?
Your emergence from sin comes from your awareness of Allah's warning to the disobedient, and your knowledge that Allah forgives sin whenever you repent, return remorseful, and determined not to revert to it. Rather, He, glory be to Him, rejoices in your repentance and transforms your evil deeds into good ones. We advise you to repent to Allah, cut off your relationship with this person and others, and keep away from him and those like him. Instead, draw closer to your Creator and His righteous servants who will help you in obedience. Know that prioritizing your desire for closeness to this person over seeking Allah's pleasure poses a great danger to you.
