How can one repent from recurring sins and transgressions, especially those involving fraud and falsifying certificates, and will repentance be beneficial in this case?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The questioner should praise Allah for granting him success in repentance. Repentance is obligatory, and its conditions are: remorse, the intention not to return to the sin, immediate cessation of it, and restoring rights to their owners. Allah accepts the repentance of a servant no matter how great the sin, and evil deeds can be transformed into good deeds through sincere repentance. It is advised to stay away from bad company and to associate with the righteous, and to attend gatherings of knowledge and remembrance.
