There is no sin upon you, nor any blood money (Diyah), nor expiation (), because the fetus's age was less than four months, which is the period after which abortion becomes prohibited and entails the rulings of Diyah and Kaffarah. Furthermore, its miscarriage was due to the doctors' decision, and you did not intentionally cause its miscarriage; rather, it miscarried on its own, and it was a defective pregnancy with no heartbeat.
