The rule regarding cosmetic surgeries is that whatever is for beautification and increasing attractiveness is forbidden, while whatever is for removing a defect or disfigurement is permissible, such as removing the defect of a large or wide nose. If the success of the operation is expected and it does not result in a predominant harm, then performing it is permissible.
