It is permissible to use medication to increase growth hormone for someone who is of weak build or noticeably short in stature, because this is considered a form of treatment for hormone deficiency, and not an alteration of Allah's creation. A condition for treating with this hormone is to ensure its safety and freedom from harm, based on the : "There should be no harm or reciprocating harm." Therefore, a specialist physician must be consulted.
