Working for a commission by liking (giving "likes") is deceit, fraud, deception, and feigning what is not rightfully one's own. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sayings: "Whoever cheats us is not of us," and "Whoever cheats is not from me," and "Deceit and fraud are in the Fire." And his (peace be upon him) saying: "The one who feigns what he has not been given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood," meaning one who pretends to have what he does not possess, to show people that he has what he does not. This applies to buying likes to increase a page's followers, which is a deception of others.
