We have not reviewed the Tawarruq system at Arab Bank, and therefore, we cannot pass judgment on it. Tawarruq is a matter of scholarly disagreement, with the preponderant view being its permissibility. However, it is not permissible to conduct it through an interest-based bank, because it is obligatory to abandon these banks due to their involvement in usury until they commit to Allah's law.
