The question

Is designing and selling logos that contain drawings of inanimate objects, such as fruits, considered doubtful or forbidden? And am I sinful if these logos are used in forbidden matters that I cannot control, especially when selling them to non-Muslims? Is there any problem in selling through non-Islamic websites that charge a commission?

The answer

Designing permissible logos that do not contain images of living beings or forbidden symbols, and are not used in forbidden trade, is permissible, and earning from it is lawful. Selling these logos is permissible unless it is highly probable that they will be used for illicit purposes. If they are used for such purposes after the sale, there is no sin upon the seller.
