Is it permissible for a Muslim to raise and sell pigs to Christians for the sole purpose of trade?

The jurists have agreed that a pig is not a valuable asset for a Muslim, due to the impossibility of deriving lawful benefit from it. It is inherently impure, and Islamic law has prohibited its sale. The jurists have reached a consensus on the invalidity of selling and buying pigs, citing the Hadith (definition) of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of intoxicants, dead animals, pigs, and idols." It is not permissible to assist anyone in consuming pork, nor to be present in places where pigs are raised or hunted, as this constitutes an endorsement of evil.
