Is it permissible for the the wife to buy and sell her husband's property?

There is no harm in a woman buying and selling with her husband's money, provided he gives his permission, and that she adheres to the rulings of Sharia (definition) in her dress, her entering and exiting, and her dealings with men. It was mentioned in a hadith (definition) from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that among the signs of the Hour is "the spread of trade until a woman assists her husband in trade," and this does not indicate its prohibition.
