What is the ruling on imported goods for which merchants paid bribes to bring them in? Is it permissible to purchase them if other goods that were not brought in by bribery are available? And what is the ruling if this type of goods cannot be brought in except by bribery?

The ruling on giving bribes to clear goods from customs has been previously issued. If traders adhere to the conditions mentioned in the fatwa (definition), then there is no harm in dealing with them in buying and selling. Otherwise, it is not permissible to deal with them, as it involves cooperation in sin and aggression.
