Why did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, agree to the condition of returning the Muslims to Mecca in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah?

The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah included a condition that obligated the Prophet (peace be upon him) to return to Quraysh anyone who came to him as a Muslim from Mecca. The Prophet (peace be upon him) agreed to this condition, knowing that Allah would provide relief and a way out for these Muslims. This condition led to a group of Muslims leaving Mecca who did not join the Prophet (peace be upon him). Instead, they formed a military force that intercepted Quraysh's trade caravans, which compelled Quraysh to request the annulment of this condition.
