There are three conditions for online marketing: The first is that membership must be free. If it involves non-refundable fees, it is gambling (qimar) and a game of chance (maysir (definition)). If the fees are refundable, it is a prohibited loan with compensation (qard mu'awadah). The second condition is that the goods to be promoted must be permissible. The third is that the marketing commission must be known. It has become clear that the first condition is not met in the aforementioned case.
