Assisting in falsehood is impermissible, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Communicating with an insurance official to commercially insure goods is assisting in forbidden commercial insurance. However, if this is compulsory and you cannot avoid it, and you are in dire need of this job to provide life's necessities for yourself and those you support, then it is permissible for you to remain in it until you find an alternative that fulfills your necessities. At that point, you must leave it immediately.
