The answer

Permissible cooperative insurance is based on the participants' donations to compensate for damages, unlike commercial insurance, which is prohibited. If a person is compelled to have insurance, they must seek a cooperative or Islamic insurance company that adheres to rulings and has a Sharia supervisory board, bearing in mind that a company's mere declaration of being Islamic is not sufficient to deem dealing with it permissible.
