The answer

The existence of jinn is affirmed by the Qur’an, the , and the consensus of the early Muslims (Salaf). The jinn’s entry into the human body is also affirmed by the agreement of the imams of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, as in the Almighty’s saying: "Those who consume interest will not stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity." (Surat Al-Baqarah, 2:275). There is no one among the imams of the Muslims who denies the jinn’s entry into the body of the afflicted.
