The answer

The religion of Islam is the religion of truth, and its law is complete, comprehensive, and eternal. It includes financial rulings that regulate the earning and spending of money. Allah has forbidden usury (riba), as He Almighty said: "But Allah has permitted trade and forbidden interest (riba)," and "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of interest (riba)." Taking or giving interest on loans is usury (riba), and what are called loans in banks are, in reality, usurious contracts. As for a (a benevolent loan), it is intended for kindness and beneficence without taking any interest or increase.
