One can show interest in the Islamic religion by reading the Prophet's biography (Sirah) and accounts of his miracles, and by reflecting on the virtues of Islam, demonstrating that Islamic law encompasses all good. The woman must sever her relationship with the Christian man if he persists in his disbelief. If he chooses Islam, he should be tested to ascertain the sincerity of his desire, and he should be informed that whoever changes his religion and is then killed, the punishment for apostasy in Islam is execution.
