Is buying a gift or sewing something for my friend using her borrowed sewing machine considered usury?

This gift, in return for the kindness your friend did for you and as a reward for her good deed, is not usury (riba). Rather, it is from the Sunnah (definition), as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Whoever does a favor for you, then reciprocate it...)" And Allah the Almighty says: (Is the reward for good anything but good?). This differs from borrowing money and stipulating its return with an increase, which is the essence of usury.
