The answer

It is permissible to receive salaries if the deposit is in an Islamic bank that invests it in a -compliant manner, such that it is not guaranteed but rather exposed to profit and loss. However, if the deposit is in an interest-based bank, it is not permissible to take salaries from it, because the fundamental principle is that dealing with money that is intrinsically unlawful is forbidden. But, if you worked before you knew the source of the salaries, it is permissible for you to take your wages for that period. And it is advised to call upon the officials to abandon dealing with interest.
