The answer

Scholars have differed on whether it is permissible for an agent appointed to distribute charity to take from it if he is eligible. According to the view that permits it, you may take from this money if you are eligible. However, it is more prudent to refrain from taking or to seek permission from the one who gave the charity, in order to avoid disagreement among scholars.
