Does the reward for congregational prayer elude one whose ablution was nullified, and then missed the prayer upon returning from performing ablution?

Whoever performs ablution with the intention of praying in congregation, then is prevented by an irresistible excuse, will receive its full reward, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs ablution and perfects his ablution, then goes and finds that the people have already prayed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will grant him a reward equal to that of those who prayed it and attended it, without diminishing anything from their reward." The Muslim must search for another congregation to pray with; if he does not find one, he should pray alone, and he will be rewarded.
