The answer

If you fear that your goods may spoil or be stolen, there is no harm in one of you staying behind to guard them while the others go for congregational prayer. The one who stays behind will be excused. Scholars have indeed stated that fear of financial loss is among the excuses that permit abstaining from congregational prayer. If the one who stays behind fears that he will not find anyone to pray with, then someone who has already prayed can charitably pray with him so that he may attain the reward of the congregation.
