Is praying in congregation after Asr considered supererogatory for someone who combined Dhuhr and Asr prayers by advancing the Asr prayer?

It is recommended to enter the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram (definition)) and pray with the congregation. The prayer will be considered a supererogatory prayer for the one who enters. This is supported by the hadith (definition) of Yazid ibn al-Aswad. The apparent meaning of the hadith indicates the permissibility of repeating all prayers, even if it is after a time of prohibition, because the repeated prayer is one of the "prayers with a cause" (dhawat al-asbab). Furthermore, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, issued a general command to repeat the prayer and did not differentiate between one prayer and another. He also commanded the two men to repeat the Fajr prayer with the congregation, even though it was a time of prohibition for them. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah attributed this view to the majority of scholars.
