Should a traveler shorten their prayer, or pray with the congregation in the mosque, and which is better?

Congregational prayer is obligatory for men, whether at home or traveling, according to the verse: "And when you are among them and lead them in prayer, let a group of them stand with you." You are required to pray with the congregation unless you cannot find anyone to pray qasr (shortened prayer) with you. And whoever intends to stay for less than four days may shorten the prayer, unless the country is a second home for him, in which case he must pray the full prayer.
