The answer

The questioner should not miss the virtue of congregational prayer in the mosque because of praying with his family. He can pray with them in congregation after returning from the mosque to combine both rewards. If he cannot do that, then it is better for him to pray in the mosque's congregation. If there is someone in his family for whom congregational prayer is obligatory, and they would miss it if he did not pray with them, then it appears from the words of the Hanbalis that it is better for him to pray with them. The Shafi'is believe that it is better to pray with them at home if not going to the mosque does not disrupt the mosque's congregation.
