What is the ruling on congregational prayer for an individual who prayed the obligatory prayer alone, and then prayed again with a congregation?

It is recommended for you to repeat the prayer you performed alone with the three men, because they constitute a congregation by agreement, and to attain the virtue of congregational prayer. This is based on the of Muhajjan: "When you come, pray with the people, even if you have already prayed," and the hadith of Abu Dharr: "Perform the prayer at its appointed time, and if you find them praying, then pray with them, for it will be a supererogatory prayer for you." The exception to this is the Maghrib prayer, due to the dislike of performing a supererogatory prayer of three rak'ahs after it.
