If a latecomer (masbuq) makes a mistake (sahu) in their prayer, there are two situations:
1. If the mistake occurs in what they are following the Imam in: They do not perform the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahu), and the Imam bears it on their behalf.
2. If the mistake occurs in what they are making up individually or if they make a mistake when concluding the prayer with their Imam: They perform the prostration of forgetfulness at the end of their prayer, because they have become an individual performer, and the Imam does not bear it on their behalf.
