What is the ruling on interrupting prayer due to a daughter crying loudly, which might disturb the worshipers?
Scholars agree that intentionally interrupting a fard (obligatory) prayer without a legitimate Shar'i excuse is forbidden (). If a child cries and cannot be silenced during congregational prayer, it is permissible to interrupt the prayer to silence the child.
