If your village does not have a sufficient number of residents for the performance of Friday prayer (forty settlers), or if you do not hear the call to prayer (), then Friday prayer is not obligatory for you, nor is seeking to attend it. Nevertheless, if you are able to obtain leave to attend it with the Muslims, it is better for you.
