Does the Friday Prayer cancel the Dhuhr Prayer?

The Friday prayer, if performed correctly with all its conditions and pillars, suffices for the Dhuhr prayer, because it is the Dhuhr of that day or a substitute for it. The obligation of Dhuhr is thus lifted even for those upon whom Friday prayer is not obligatory, such as women and travelers.
