Is it better to perform all the regular Sunnah prayers at home?

The majority are of the view that performing supererogatory prayers (Nawafil) and regular Sunnah (definition) prayers (Rawatib) at home is better, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The best of prayer is a person's prayer in his home, except for the obligatory prayers." Some scholars differentiated between the regular Sunnah prayers of the day and night, or they excluded specific supererogatory prayers like the regular Sunnah prayer of Friday, and they indicated that the detailed explanation regarding this is a narration from Ahmad.
