Is it obligatory to observe sequence in making up for missed prayers if a worshiper remembers that he missed the Dawn prayer after performing the Friday prayer?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If you prayed Jumu'ah then remembered that you did not pray Fajr, then pray Fajr. You are not required to repeat Dhuhr afterwards. The order between a present prayer and a missed one is recommended according to the majority of scholars, and its obligation is waived upon forgetfulness, even for those who consider it obligatory. A forgotten prayer must be made up immediately upon remembering it, based on the : "Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it."
