Is it permissible to pray in a mosque where advertisements are presented between the two Friday sermons?

It is from the Sunnah (definition) for the preacher to sit between the two Friday sermons, as mentioned in the Hadith (definition). This sitting is brief, not lengthy. Some scholars have estimated its duration to be equivalent to a sitting for rest (jalsat al-istirahah) or the recitation of Surat Al-Ikhlas (definition). If the break between the two sermons is prolonged, it severs the continuity (muwalat) between them, rendering both the sermon and the prayer invalid according to the majority of scholars. Continuity is a condition for the validity of the sermon, both between its pillars, and between the two sermons, and between them and the prayer. A slight separation is overlooked by the majority. If advertisements are customarily long, they invalidate the sermon according to the view of the majority. Therefore, they should be advised to adhere to the Sunnah; otherwise, one should seek another mosque.
