Is there a special significance to Surat Al-Jumu'ah, and is it recommended to recite it on Friday, like Surat Al-Kahf?

Nothing specific has been authentically reported regarding the virtues of Surat Al-Jumu'ah. Rather, it has been reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite it along with Surat Al-Munafiqun in the Jumu'ah prayer. There are weak and fabricated narrations concerning its virtues, among them: "Whoever recites Surat Al-Jumu'ah will be given rewards equal to the number of those who attended Jumu'ah and those who did not attend from the Muslim cities," but this is fabricated. However, Surat Al-Jumu'ah is from the Surahs of "Al-Mufassal" with which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was favored over all other scriptures and prophets.
