Must the Iqamah be recited aloud for the prayer of an individual performing the Jumu'ah prayer if he is a traveler?

An individual is not required to vocalize the Iqamah (definition) (call to commence prayer); it is sufficient for him to hear himself. There is no difference in this regard between a resident and a traveler. Thus, for someone who performs the Adhan (definition) for himself or for someone present with him, it is not a condition to raise the voice beyond what enables him to hear himself or enables the one present with him to hear.
