What is the ruling on performing Friday Prayer in an open area (sermon and prayer without a minbar) to avoid the worshippers standing in front of the imam?

There is no impediment to performing Friday prayer outside the mosque according to the majority (Hanbalis, Shafi'is, and Hanafis) who do not stipulate its performance inside the mosque. As for the Malikis, they stipulate for the validity of the sermon and the prayer that they be inside the mosque built for the people of the village. And theتقدم المأمومين على الإمام إن كان لعذر كضيق المسجد لا ضرر فيه.advancement of the congregants beyond the Imam, if it is for an excuse such as the narrowness of the mosque, there is no harm in it.
