Should one perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) in the Friday and Eid prayers?

Prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) is performed for the Eid and Friday prayers just like any other prayer, and this is the view of the majority of scholars. However, later Hanafis held the view that it is preferable not to perform prostration of forgetfulness in Friday and Eid prayers if a large congregation is present, so that the matter does not become confusing for the worshippers.
