Are there specific supplications for the prostration of recitation (sujud al-tilawah), and if so, what are they? Is it legislated to say "Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la wa bihamdihi" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, and with His praise) three times, as in the prostration of prayer? And does the same ruling apply to the prostration of thanksgiving (sujud al-shukr)?

What is prescribed in the prostration of recitation (sujud (definition) at-tilawah) is to say what is said in the prostration of prayer (sujud as-salat), and it is sunnah (definition) to say in it: "My face has prostrated to the One who created it, and fashioned its hearing and sight by His power and strength." As for the prostration of gratitude (sujud ash-shukr), what is prescribed in it is glorification (tasbih), gratitude (shukr), and praise (hamd) in any form. It is permissible to say in it what one says in the prostration of prayer or recitation, and the matter in this regard is expansive.
