Is it permissible to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers and offer them before their prescribed times due to work circumstances that prevent performing them at their designated times, and is it better to delay the Fajr prayer to perform it with the combined prayers upon returning home?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Maghrib prayer is not permissible before its time, and whoever does so, their prayer is invalid and they must make it up. It is permissible to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers in cases of necessity, such as fear, travel, rain, and illness. If the sister asking the question is unable to pray Isha at its time at her workplace, she may combine it with Maghrib to avoid hardship. It is not permissible to delay the Maghrib and Isha prayers until Fajr.
